如果说8043是2010年的Technic系列的旗舰产品，那么，8110套装当之无愧是今年(2011年)的旗舰。8043的特点是复杂的齿轮传动和全遥控，而8110套装则大量的使用了传统的气动装置。此车采用1:12.5的比例，虽然是积木拼插，但精细度已可媲美真正的车模。其中汽车绞盘、具有气源的起重机、带有活塞的发动机等等细节部分全由人工拼装而成；前后车体均有气动接口，可为前后附加设备提供动力。8110共有2048个积木块，在Technic系列中算大型套装，性价比高于去年的8043。
