Maintenance tips for stylus printer
1.Keep the printer stable,dont place or use it in the moist and dust environment.
2.Please stop the machine to make the print head give out heat before going on so that can prolong its lifespan.
3.Dont make the print head too close to paper,otherwise it can accelerate its wear.
4.Make sure that the surface of the Paper Feed Roller under the print head is smooth,or it will shorten its lifespan. Replace it in time when the surface become bulgy or sunken.
5.Dont use crumple paper or it will cause paper jam easily. If paper jam happens, please turn the Paper Feed Roller in a reverse direction to make the shredded paper out and make sure there is no shredded paper left in the machine.
6.Please replace or repair the needle in time if it is broken or worn, or it will smash the ribbon chip and shorten the lifespan of the ribbon rack as well.
7.When replace the ribbon chip, please check whether there are missing parts, otherwise the ribbon rack may seize up or the print head cause damage and so on.
8.Because stylus printer is a sort of contact type, after working for a long time, there will be much wastepaper and ribbon flocks left in the machine, so cleaning for the machine regularly is a must. Also you can turn electric blower to cold button and blow them off in the opposite direction of paper feed.
