Description

The CX2906AC is a simply USB Power Delivery

3.0 protocol controller. It integrated functions for HiSilicon Fast Charging Protocol (FCP) and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0. It also supports Type-A and Type-C (1A1C). When 1A1C connector plug into simultaneously, output voltage will down to 5V.

The CX2906AC monitors the CC pin to detect a USB Type-C attach/detach. It is capable providing output voltage of 5V to 15V. The CX2906AC implements VBUS detection and discharge for the implementation of compliant connection ports. The protection features include over-voltage (VBUS, D+/D-).

Additionally, the CX2906AC also monitors USB D+/D- data line, connector plug in/out and automatically adjust the output voltage depending on different device requirement. It is capable providing output voltage of 3.6V to 12V.
