垂直循环类机械式停车设备是采用与地面垂直方向做循环运动而达到存取车辆的停车设备。其工作原理是通过减速电机带动传动机构，在牵引构件——链条上，每隔一定距离安装一个存车拖架，存车拖架随链条一起作循环运动，从而达到存取车辆的目的。
