RF5418 MIPI RFFE for QRD Applications

Application Note

This application note contains the information of how to program RF5418 MIPI RFFE on QRD chipset platform.

The main ideas regarding QRD special support are summarized by the following:

■  Tx modes are supported through short writes to register 0.

■  Rx modes are supported through normal writes to register 2. Register 0 OSW_EN must be 1 for Rx modes.

■  Register 2 must be zero (all bits zero) for TX modes to be selected by register 0. If register 2 is non-zero, the value in

PA_BandSel is ignored.

The table below describes the registers and how each bit field affects the configuration of the module.
