防爆超压排气活门主要用于防护工程的排风口，平时处于关闭状态，当需要进行滤毒通风时，工程内部必须造成并保持30-50Pa超压，此时活门的阀盖在超压作用下自动开启，以排除防毒通道内的毒气。当战时需要进行隔绝防护时，用人工将阀盖锁紧，此时活门具有防护密闭功能。
安装要求：
1、土建施工时应将穿墙管位置固定正确，穿墙管要求水平，并将周围钢筋焊牢。
2、安装时可利用壳体上螺体上的螺栓孔进行吊装。
3、安装时应便杠杆成铅锤状态，当阀盖打开最大位置时，其外侧应均匀靠在限位圈上。
4、安装好后阀盖应开关灵活，重锤应根据工程设计超压值放在杠杆长圆孔的相应凹槽上。
