船用紧急逃生呼吸器逃生器气瓶上装有压力表始终显示气瓶内压力。头罩或全面罩上装有呼气阀，将使用者呼出的气体排出保护罩外，由于保护罩内的气体压力大于外界环境大气压力，所以环境气体不能进入保护罩，从而达到呼吸保护的目的。该装置体积小，可由人员随身携带且不影响人员的正常活动。
　　其结构简单，操作简便，使用者在未经培训的情况下，简要阅读使用说明后即可正确操作.
